Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 61-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Leola/Frederick upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Titans travel to Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to play the Braves in a B Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Britton-Hecla lost 52-25 in their recent league bout against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers (Edgeley, ND) in a B District 2 bout, on Friday, January 26. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
