The Rocks now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a Western Big 6 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Rock Island will confront a Golden Warriors team coming off a 53-47 league loss to Moline (Moline, IL). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 16-4.
The Railsplitters (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons come into the non-league battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, Jacksonville edged Cahokia (Cahokia, IL), 61-53, in a non-league battle.
