With the victory, Maine South improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Hawks host Evanston (Evanston, IL) to confront the Wildkits in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wildkits come into the challenge with a record of 15-8.

Next up, the Pumas confront the Chicago Mathematics & Science (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Northtown will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 67-53 league win over Alcott/DeVry Advantage Academy (Chicago, IL).
