Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA), 80-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nativity BVM upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a Schuylkill County 2 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Tri-Valley won 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 72-42 league loss to Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
