The Riverton Rams basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Parsons Vikings to 50 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Riverton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-29 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-9.
The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Pittsburg was defeated by Owasso (Owasso, OK), 76-62, in a non-league contest.
