With the win, Wayland Academy upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Big Red host Central Wisconsin Christian (Waupun, WI) to clash with the Crusaders in a Trailways - East bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Central Wisconsin Christian won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Randolph (Randolph, WI)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Valley Christian Warriors (Oshkosh, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Rio will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 74-52 non-league loss to Madison Country Day (Waunakee, WI).
