Saddle River Day Rebels (Saddle River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 75-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Saddle River Day upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Rebels host Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Dwight-Englewood won 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 59-52 league win over Randolph (Randolph, NJ).
