The Sequoyah Chiefs topped the host West Forsyth Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 69-54 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Chiefs face the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 game, on Monday, January 22. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 41-37 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA).

With the defeat, West Forsyth moves to 14-6 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Lambert (Suwanee, GA) to face the Longhorns in a AAAAAAA Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 23. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 13-7. Lambert won 78-44 in their recent league game against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA)
