Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Episcopal School nipped by Woodberry Forest

The Woodberry Forest Tigers tipped the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team by a final score of 54-50 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) in a VISAA Division I game, on Tuesday, January 23. Woodberry Forest will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 69-64 league loss to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA).

With the defeat, Virginia Episcopal School moves to 6-7 on the year. The Bishops travel to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to face the Flames in a VISAA Division III game on Tuesday, January 23. The Flames enter the game with a record of 11-4. Eastern Mennonite lost 72-67 in their recent non-league game against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)
