The Assumption Rockets basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Tates Creek Commodores to 51 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rockets now hold a 12-8 record. They play next when they host North Bullitt for a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. Assumption will play a Eagles squad coming off a 76-42 non-league loss to Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 8-11.

Next up, the Commodores play the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Tates Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 44-39 league win over Lafayette (Lexington, KY).
