The Chicago Marshall Commandos basketball team (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 58-26 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL)

The Blazing Trojan now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland battle on Monday, January 22. Bloom will battle a Kays team coming off a 49-20 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Kays record now stands at 15-8.

The Commandos (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Aspira Business and Finance (Chicago, IL). The White Tigers come into the Freelance battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Aspira Business and Finance was overwhelmed by Kelvyn Park (Chicago, IL), 52-12, in a league battle.
