Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA), 64-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brentwood upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Thomas Jefferson Academy won 42-22 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Grace Christian Academy Cougars (Bainbridge, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Southwest Georgia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 36-33 league win over Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA).
