The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes basketball team (Waverly, SD), was routed 57-33 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD)

The Braves now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leola/Frederick for a B Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Britton-Hecla will battle a Titans team coming off a 59-31 non-league win over South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND). The Titans record now stands at 9-2.

The Coyotes (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Webster (Webster, SD). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Webster was routed by Sisseton (Sisseton, SD), 69-29, in a league battle.
