Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), 50-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rock Creek upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Valley Heights lost 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against Hanover (Hanover, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Buffalos go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 31-22 non-league win over Uniontown (Uniontown, KS).
