The Vinalhaven Vikings basketball team (Vinalhaven, ME), was overwhelmed 67-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME)
The Cobras now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22. Carrabec will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-39 league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
The Vikings (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME). The Eagles come into the D South battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Islesboro Central was overwhelmed by Carrabec (North Anson, ME), 61-37, in a non-league battle.
