Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO) and the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK), saw Hillcrest's basketball squad overcome Commerce by a tally of 44-36.

With the victory, Hillcrest improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lebanon (Lebanon, MO) to confront the Yellowjackets in a Ozarks challenge on Monday, January 22. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Lebanon won 49-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Belle (Belle, MO)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Welch Wildcats (Welch, OK) in a Lucky Seven challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Commerce will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 49-23 non-league loss to Nowata (Nowata, OK).
