The DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Lower Brule Sioux to 58 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. DeSmet will battle a Cossacks team coming off a 68-53 non-league win over Howard (Howard, SD). The Cossacks record now stands at 6-3.

The Sioux (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
