In Saturday's non-league outing, the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 41-38.
The Red Raiders (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Tech (Newark, NJ). The Terries go into the non-league outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Newark Tech was tipped by American History (Newark, NJ), 19-1, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Irvington for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23.
