In Saturday's non-league outing, the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), by a count of 61-48.
The Rebels (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Model ran past Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 55-14, in a league contest.
The Blue Devils (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians go into the A D1 Region 8 outing with a 6-9 record.
