New Jersey High School Basketball - Teaneck nips Elizabeth

Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ), 65-64 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Teaneck upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Highwaymen travel to NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ) to play the Norsemen in a Big North - National bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Norsemen come into the bout with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Minutemen play the Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ) in a Mountain Valley - Sky bout, on Monday, January 22. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ).
