In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND) basketball squad felled the visiting Richland Colts (Colfax, ND), by a margin of 64-54.
The Cardinals (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND). The Lions go into the B District 2 outing with a 10-4 record.
The Colts now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Sargent County for a B District 1 outing on Monday, January 22. Richland will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-39 non-league loss to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-1.
