The Princeton Tigers basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Hermantown Hawks to 73 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zimmerman for a AAA Section 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Princeton will battle a Thunder team coming off a 69-37 league loss to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Thunder record now stands at 4-11.
The Hawks (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluejackets come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Hibbing was defeated by Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 55-38, in a non-league contest.
