Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shaktoolik Wolverines (Shaktoolik, AK) and the host Lumen Christi Archangels (Anchorage, AK), saw Shaktoolik's basketball squad wallop Lumen Christi by a count of 52-17.

With the victory, Shaktoolik upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Archangels play the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK) in a 1A Peninsula challenge, on Friday, January 26. Lumen Christi will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Tanalian (Port Alsworth, AK).
