The Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID) basketball crushed the visiting Sho-Ban Chiefs (Fort Hall, ID), 57-34 in Saturday's league test.
The Miners (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Rockland (Rockland, ID). The Bulldogs go into the 1A II Rocky Mountain test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Rockland walloped Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID), 49-20, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Watersprings for a 1A II Rocky Mountain test on Tuesday, January 23. Sho-Ban will encounter a squad coming off a 33-15 league loss to Leadore (Leadore, ID). The record now stands at 6-12.
