In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Midwest City Bombers basketball team scored a tight 58-54 triumph over the Moore Lions.
In their next game, the Bombers meet the Noble Bears (Noble, OK) in a 5A District 2 match, on Tuesday, January 23. Midwest City will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 43-28 non-league win over Altus (Altus, OK).
With the defeat, Moore moves to 5-9 on the year. The Lions host Norman North (Norman, OK) to meet the Timberwolves in a 6A District 1 match on Friday, January 26. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 7-8.
