Colorado High School Basketball - Pueblo County overwhelms Mitchell

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) and the host Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Pueblo County's basketball squad wallop Mitchell by a count of 63-11.

With the victory, Pueblo County upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to play the Colts in a 5A/4A South Central challenge on Monday, January 22. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Pueblo South lost 29-18 in their recent league challenge against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO)

Next up, the Marauders play the Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 69-14 league loss to Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO).
