The Union City Soaring Eagles tipped the visiting Central Blue Devils basketball squad by a margin of 52-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Soaring Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Dominic Academy (Jersey City, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the Hudson County - American test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, St. Dominic Academy got by Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ), 58-33, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield for a Super Essex - Liberty test on Monday, January 22. Central will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 53-50 league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 6-6.
