In Saturday's non-league outing, the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 50-37.
The Owls (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA). The Armens go into the Liberty outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Holy Martyrs Armenian defeated San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 48-43, in a non-league outing.
The Regal Gryphons now own a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Laguna Beach for a non-league outing on Monday, January 22. Notre Dame Academy will clash with a Breakers squad coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 7-15.
