Rockland Bulldogs (Rockland, ID) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taylor's Crossing Eagles (Idaho Falls, ID), 49-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rockland upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mackay (Mackay, ID) to play the Miners in a 1A II Rocky Mountain bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Mackay won 57-34 in their recent league bout against Sho-Ban (Fort Hall, ID)

Next up, the Eagles play the North Gem Cowboys (Bancroft, ID) in a 1A II Rocky Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Taylor's Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
