The Sayre Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Vici Indians to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Sayre will battle a team coming off a 38-31 non-league loss to Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK). The record now stands at 7-10.
The Indians (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Seiling (Seiling, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Seiling ran past Merritt (Elk City, OK), 62-45, in a non-league contest.
