Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 8-0 in a league match.

The Hawks (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers enter the State Championship Division match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Moses Brown was trounced by Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI), 8-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Clippers clash with the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Friday, January 26. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Avengers enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 7-0 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
