Durango Demons (Durango, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO), 3-2 in a non-league battle.

The Demons now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rampart for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Durango will play a Rams team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams record now stands at 2-10.

The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Sun Devils come into the 4A North battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Kent Denver nipped Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 7-1, in a league battle.
