In Saturday's non-league challenge, the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) ice hockey team the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), by a margin of 5-1.

The Green Wave now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston for a Southern Connecticut - DIII challenge on Wednesday, January 24.

The Wreckers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Newington Co-op (Newington, CT). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record.
