The West Warriors (Torrance, CA) basketball knocked off the host Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), 63-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Cardinals go into the test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Lawndale notched a victory over El Segundo (El Segundo, CA), 65-60, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a test on Tuesday, January 23. Villa Park will encounter a Comanches squad coming off a 65-35 league win over Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 18-2.
