The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA), saw Brother Martin's soccer squad get by Dutchtown by a count of 2-1.

The Crusaders now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Newman for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Brother Martin will meet a Greenies squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Greenies record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Dutchtown drops to 8-4 on the season. The Griffins travel to Live Oak (Watson, LA) to meet the Eagles in a Division II District 4 test on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-6. Live Oak won 2-0 in their recent league test against Walker (Walker, LA)
