In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Seagoville Dragons.
The Rough Riders (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans come into the 5A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Northwest nudged Decatur (Decatur, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Dragons (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Samuell was nudged by The Colony (The Colony, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
