The St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) basketball edged the visiting AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA), 41-40 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Denison-Schleswig for a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, January 24. St. Albert will play a Monarchs team coming off a 63-15 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-11.

With the loss, AHSTW falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-3.
