The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) and the visiting Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX), observed Brentwood Christian's basketball team overcome Brook Hill by a margin of 60-52.

The Bears (21-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX). The Falcons come into the TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Dunne defeated Regents (Austin, TX), 58-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Guard battle the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Brook Hill will attempt to better on its 22-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 58-48 league loss to Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX).
