Georgia High School Basketball - Buford holds off Calvary Day

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Buford Wolves basketball team scored a close 76-72 triumph over the Calvary Day Cavaliers.
The Wolves (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights go into the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Central Gwinnett was nipped by Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA), 48-40, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks enter the AAA Region 3 outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Islands got by Johnson (Savannah, GA), 53-50, in a league outing.
