The Clinton Arrows defeated the host Callaway Chargers basketball squad by a final score of 49-41 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next, the Arrows clash with the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a 7A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Golden Wave come into the outing with a 12-4 record after their 53-43 league win over Starkville (Starkville, MS).
The Chargers (8-14) will now prepare for their outing against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings come into the 6A Region 2 outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Warren Central went down by Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 55-42, in a league outing.
