The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) and the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA), observed Eastside College Prep's basketball team overwhelm Gunderson by a score of 46-21.

The Panthers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights come into the West Bay challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, King's Academy trounced Priory (Portola Valley, CA), 62-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Gunderson will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 60-46 league win over James Lick (San Jose, CA).
