The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Evangel Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), observed Lexington Catholic's basketball team knock off Evangel Christian by a score of 62-45.

The Knights (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores come into the District 43 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Tates Creek was knocked off by George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 51-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Evangel Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
