The Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball edged the host Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), 61-55 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Waubonsie Valley for a DuPage Valley bout on Friday, January 24. Metea Valley will play a Warriors team coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 21-0.

With the loss, Glenbard North falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to play the Fighting Saints in a DuKane bout on Friday, January 24. The Fighting Saints go into the bout with a record of 9-10. St. Charles East won 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL)
