The Tigers (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers come into the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Jim Hill trounced Edwards (Ruleville, MS), 48-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 24. West Marion will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 46-38 league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS).
