The South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) basketball were winner over the host Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS), 68-51 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Braves now possess a 22-2 record. They play next when they host Florence for a 5A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24.
With the loss, Madison Central falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Starkville (Starkville, MS) to play the Yellowjackets in a 7A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 18-6.
