The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) and the host Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL), observed South Elgin's basketball team overcome Willowbrook by a score of 64-52.

The Storm (7-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals come into the Upstate Eight - West challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Larkin dropped by Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 57-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Willowbrook will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 58-51 league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL).
