Michigan High School Basketball - Anchor Bay nips Davison

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Anchor Bay Tars basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Davison Cardinals.
The Tars (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies go into the Macomb Area - Blue contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Lakeview nipped Utica (Utica, MI), 47-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Davison will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 62-51 league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI).
