Ohio High School Basketball - Federal Hocking knocks off Athens

January 20, 2025: The Plains, OH 45780

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers basketball team scored a good 58-45 win over the Athens Bulldogs.

The Lancers (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern (Reedsville, OH). The Eagles come into the Tri-Valley - Hocking contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Eastern was topped by Trimble (Glouster, OH), 45-25, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Athens will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 53-36 league loss to Alexander (Albany, OH).
