The Bellevue Comets basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Calamus-Wheatland Warriors to 35 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Comets now have a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Monticello for a Freelance game on Tuesday, January 21. Bellevue will confront a Panthers team coming off a 57-36 non-league loss to Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Calamus-Wheatland falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to North Cedar (Stanwood, IA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Knights go into the game with a record of 2-10. North Cedar lost 60-30 in their recent non-league game against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA)
