In Monday's league test, the Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) basketball squad trounced the host Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME), by a score of 64-23.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) in a D North test, on Wednesday, January 22. Central Aroostook will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 1-11 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME).
The Beavers (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers come into the D North test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Wisdom bounced East Grand (Dansforth, ME), 74-14, in a league test.
